Strategic Business Coaching Today

Eagle Logo 200x16911 Strategic Business Coaching TodayMany business owners attempt to run their company without seeking professional assistance from others. But those who retain small business management consulting and coaching firms generally find much greater success!

Such is the case of business strategy coach Mick Young and the Eagle Venture Team, who teach, advise and coach owners and staff of small and medium sized businesses. From business startup training to corporate strategic planning, it’s about creating motivation and success in your business, and as a natural extension, your entire life!

Many business owners have the misconception that only unsuccessful or struggling companies require business coaching. THIS IS JUST NOT TRUE! No matter how successful or well-established your business is, you need the services of an experienced business coach to take your enterprise to the next level.

As a small business owner, you need to juggle many balls in the air, including marketing, sales, finance, production, purchasing, accounts receivable, customers, banks, employees, and much more. And since you’re extremely busy in managing and implementing your day-to-day business activities, you sometimes may feel that you hardly have time for your “true” role as the business head of your organization. Due to this, your job of formulating more effective strategies for the growth and development of your business and taking it to the next level may, at times, take a backseat. This is where small business coaching will come to your rescue.

Hurdles1 Strategic Business Coaching TodayAfter all, which successful professional athlete has succeeded without hiring a coach? From Tiger Woods on the golf course, to David Beckham on the soccer field, to Shaq on the basketball court, to shortstop Derek Jeter – ALL athletes require the expertise of a coach to hone their skills and help them excel in their chosen field. These athletes understand the importance of having someone to guide them, to point out things they don’t notice, and to encourage them to perform to the best of their abilities. And just as sports coaches are a necessity for these great athletes, business coaches are also essential for small business.

The process of business coaching identifies areas for improvement, usually by the advisor asking you a number of questions in order to clarify your company’s current state. Only then can the most effective way to move forward be identified.  A plan of action can then be formulated for you and your business put into practice on a consistent basis.  Coaching is a process which is action-orientated.  It’s not for the coach to tell you what to do – instead the coach helps YOU identify what to do! This is critical since you know your business better than anyone else does.

Although part of the business coaching may include some training, it’s mainly focused on helping you realize your overall potential, to identify goals, and to simultaneously provide the support that you and your organization will require to achieve them.  The role of business coaching is to help you realize what you want to achieve, discover the best way to reach your goals, and to provide the required support and encouragement along the way.

During business coaching sessions, new skills may be introduced and existing ones further developed, while providing training, guidance, support and motivation.  The overall goal of business coaching is always focused on enabling growth, efficient productivity and increasing profits in order to make your business more successful, and having you feel more fulfilled.

Business coaching is about making improvements and changes so that you and your business perform at a much higher level, continually growing! These areas of growth occur both on a personal level and in the way you run your business, and ultimately the profits you generate. Business coaching helps to identify how to get the most out of your time, resources and investments. Although business coaching is regularly used when companies aren’t performing well, it is also extremely beneficial when a company IS successful, in order to build on that success and to take the enterprise to an even higher level.

The ultimate intention behind our business coaching is to make your business effective and competitive, and for you as a business owner to feel successful.  With the help of business coaching, we formulate a plan or series of strategies, you help in identifying the steps required, and then you start taking action on these steps in order to achieve the overall goals you have for your business!

Are you sure you want to start your own business? Are you fearful of failure? Are you fearful of success? (I know… sounds crazy doesn’t it?) Do you know how to set up a budget? Do you have a business plan? How much do you know about marketing your business? What type of business structure is right for you? How much insurance coverage will you need to comply with state, county or city requirements?

How much money do have put away to cover your expenses until the new business can support you? Will you operate your new venture part-time and continue to work at your regular job until your business takes off? Is your spouse on board with this venture? Are there obligations you must deliver on, such as college tuition for the kids, elderly parental care, etc?

We could go on and on with questions that need to be addressed before you even consider opening the doors to you new venture. Chances are you haven’t thought of 80% of the things that need to be handled and thought through. And of that 80%, there’s a good chance you may not have the necessary answers to at least half, or more of those issues.

You will more than likely put in many more hours, sleep a lot less, and earn much less than at any other time in your life – in the beginning! But in time, it will all fall into place and you’ll be the proud owner of a wonderfully successful business. If you want to live at a high level of lifestyle, you need to operate at a high level. It’s still true… you’ll reap what you sow!

But relax, take a deep breath…

Having a dream, a desire and a need to build your successful business requires you to be productive. And it’s important to ensure that you don’t continuously stay in a state of perpetual preparation. Being productive requires taking action – immediate action! Putting massive, dynamic action toward your goals puts you on the right track for greater productivity, which will guarantee success!

So what productive action will you take today? Perhaps that action is to enter a coaching program… right here, right now! Or maybe it’s to purchase a book on business start up, such as “Your New Venture… Real Business or Hobby?”  by Mick Young. Whatever you choose – use it right away! Don’t let that study program become “shelf-ware”. Holding onto knowledge is NEVER as beneficial as implementing that knowledge.

This is exactly why Strategic Business Coaching Today is here. We have the experience, the knowledge and the desire to help you walk through the start up stages of entrepreneurship. This can be very overwhelming, and at times a terrifying endeavor – but we want to calm, support and reassure you. Our passion is being able to teach, advise and coach entrepreneurs and business owners, just like you! We can help create motivation and stimulate a passion in you… in order to move you to the next level of success!
